BFFF originally started with a simple concept of inviting dads, grandfathers, and male community members to come and greet students before school. As a nonprofit, we have incorporated “50 Men on Deck” to come out and welcome kids to school, also allowing us to see if we are engaging the community as well as the young men. It is a powerful thing when men come together to encourage, uplift, and promote positivity not just one day, but as a commitment to be there as mentors.
